Requirements

To maintain certification, an IBERA Diplomate must complete a recertification process every five years, in which it is demonstrated that requirements still are met.

Each applicant is required to have a total of 40 credits over the 5-year period (approx. 8 credits per year).

These credits can be earned by activities in the following categories:

  1. Professional Activity in environmental risk assessment. Use the provided template to record activities in this category.
  2. Continuing Education. Use the provided template to record activities in this category.

How to Apply

  • IBERA Diplomate must complete the online application. Applications are only accepted online via the application portal.
  • After submitting your application, you will be contacted to pay the recertification fee. Reviewing of recertification dossiers starts once payment has been received.
  • Only complete dossiers will be reviewed, and it’s the responsibility of the IBERA Diplomate to ensure timely receipt of all required documentation.
